Cambodian civilians Seek peace as Thai invading forces attack
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia, July 28, 2025 (SBM News) – The invasion of Cambodian territory by Thailand’s military forces along the border areas has entered its fifth day. Over 130,000 Cambodian civilians have been displaced from their homes, and 600 schools have been closed.
The invasion of Cambodian territory was initiated by Lieutenant General Boonsin Padklang, Commander of the 2nd Army Area, who instigated a confrontation at Ta Muen Thom Temple. This occurred after he ordered Thai troops to lay barbed wire to encircle and seize the temple. Cambodian military forces intervened to halt the outbreak of armed conflict but Thai aggressor forces launched the first attack.
Armed conflict have spread over several days from the Ta Muen Thom area to Ta Muen Toch, Ta Krabei, Mom Bei, Phnom Khmoch, and Phnom Trob etc., in Oddar Meanchey and Preah Vihear provinces. However, the Thai military forces did not halt their invasive ambitions toward Cambodian territory; they continued their incursion into other areas of Cambodia, advancing further to Thmor Da Area of Pursat province.
Through heavy artillery attacks and airstrikes targeting Cambodian troops and innocent civilians, they used heavy weapons including bomb-dropping drones, F-16 fighter jets, Gripen JAS 39 fighter aircraft, cluster munitions, and chemical weapons. This resulted in deaths and injuries among Cambodian military forces and innocent civilians, while over 130,000 civilians fled to safe locations.
Tragedy caused by Thailand’s invasion has made Cambodian the elderly, children, pregnant women, and the disabled lose their homes, education, and food shortages. These are war crimes committed by Thailand against Cambodia, while Thailand presents itself as the victim to the world. Cambodian citizens need peace. This is a message to people worldwide and the global community: please look at Thailand’s military aggression against Cambodia and help rescue Cambodia from the Thai invasion.

Chilling moment intruder inspects naked woman with his torch as she slept next to her partner in Marbella home as brave victim who released video
Chilling moment intruder inspects naked woman with his torch as she slept next to her partner in Marbella home as brave victim who released video describes ‘recurring nightmares’
This is the chilling moment a home intruder repeatedly inspected a woman as she slept naked in her Costa del Sol home.
Homeowners Pilar and Alex found that they had been burgled after 300 euros went missing from their home in Marbella on June 2.
But while the couple reviewed their CCTV, they made an even more disturbing discovery after footage showed how a masked thief stood over their bed as they slept.
In the sinister clip, which was released by the couple, the burglar was seen returning multiple times to the couple’s room throughout a 32 minute period.
But the thief appeared to fixate on Pilar, with the video showing him repeatedly flashing his torch over Pilar’s body.
‘He entered our bedroom eight times to look at my private parts’, she told local media after deciding to release the footage in the hope of catching the ‘sick predator’.
Local police are now investigating the case and are analysing the security footage to identify the suspect, but no arrests have been made yet.
The thief is said to have taken 300 euros from the couple’s home, but did not steal any other valuables, leading Pilar to believe that his intentions were not to rob the couple’s home, but rather to prey on her as she slept.
Pilar’s 18-year-old son was also sleeping in the room next door at the time of the incident.
‘That man didn’t come to my house to steal, he came to do something to me’, she told local media.

‘I was alone the night before. What if he’d come then?’.
Her partner Alex expressed how Pilar ‘felt violated’ and called the thief a ‘sick predator’.
Pilar has also told of how the terrifying ordeal has affected her psychologically, and described how she now suffers from recurring nightmares and has to sleep with all of her doors and windows closed.
She is also undergoing psychological treatment to cope with the trauma she has suffered, she said.
It is believed he entered the house through a terrace door.
The horrifying incident in the Spanish city comes as residents have been warned to beef up their security systems after falling prey to a ‘terrifying’ burglar who remains at large.
Chilling footage shows the moment a man in a mask and a grey hoodie breaks into a series of villas between San Pedro de Alcantara in Marbella and Benahavis.
The brazen thief, dubbed the San Pedro Prowler, is seen picking locks with a sharp implement, which locals said he could use as ‘a weapon if he needs it to be’.
The menacing figure then calmly walks off with his hands filled with goods, including luxury handbags and jewellery.

Among the recent stolen items include €10,000 in cash and a €30,000 watch.
The robber appears to be wearing no shoes and just have socks on during his raids, seemingly to avoid alerting anyone inside the house to his presence.
Neighbourhoods he has targeted include Guadalmina, and La Quinta, in upmarket Benahavis.

Cosby Show Star’s Shocking Drowning Leaves Fans Heartbroken
The Cosby Show alum Malcolm-Jamal Warner has tragically passed away at the age of 54, the Daily Mail can confirm.
The actor died in Costa Rica on Sunday after drowning while swimming off the coast, according to local authorities who spoke with ABC News.
The Costa Rican National Police reported that Warner’s body was discovered near Cocles, a beach in the Limon province.
He was reportedly caught by a strong current, and his official cause of death has been listed as asphyxia.
Daily Mail has reached out to Warner’s representatives for comment, but they have not yet responded.

While the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, experts note that some beaches in Costa Rica can pose serious risks depending on conditions.
Though many areas are safe for swimming, others are known for powerful currents and rip tides that demand caution.
Warner was best known for his iconic role as Theodore Huxtable, the only son of Cliff Huxtable, on the beloved NBC sitcom The Cosby Show. He appeared in all eight seasons from 1984 to 1992, earning widespread acclaim and becoming a household name.
According to WedMD, Asphyxia ‘happens when your body doesn’t get enough oxygen to keep you from passing.’
Breathing impairment, due to water inhalation, can cause the condition, which can result in unconsciousness or death.
Although it is unknown what caused him to drown, the waters in Costa Rica can be dangerous, depending on the specific beach and conditions.
While many beaches offer safe swimming, some have strong currents and rip tides that require caution.
The actor, best known for his role as Theodore Huxtable on the beloved NBC sitcom, appeared in all eight seasons from 1984 to 1992.

At the time, Warner was just a teenager, but his performance earned widespread acclaim, including a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the 1986 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Warner is survived by his wife and young daughter, born in 2017.
While he occasionally shared glimpses of his family life on social media, he chose to keep their identities private, opting not to publicly reveal their names.
His character, Theo, was based on Bill Cosby’s real-life son, Ennis Cosby, and was portrayed with depth and sensitivity.
In the show, Theo is diagnosed with dyslexia after struggling academically during his freshman year at New York University—an arc that resonated with many viewers.
Beyond The Cosby Show, Warner carved out a successful and diverse career in both comedy and drama.
He starred as Malcolm McGee in the UPN sitcom Malcolm & Eddie (1996–2000) opposite Eddie Griffin, and later headlined BET’s Reed Between the Lines from 2011 to 2015 as Dr. Alex Reed.
His television credits also included recurring roles and guest appearances on shows like Sons of Anarchy, Jeremiah, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Community. Warner also voiced the Producer character on the educational children’s series The Magic School Bus.
Prior to his breakout role, Warner, who was born in New Jersey, he attended a performing arts school in New York City.
Cosby personally selected Warner to play his son.
In 2023, Warner insisted he and the rest of the cast of The Cosby Show ‘still very proud of’ their hit series.
‘We share a unique experience that keeps us lovingly bonded no matter how much time goes between seeing or hearing from each other,’ he told People.
‘Regardless of how some people may feel about the show now, I’m still proud of the legacy and having been a part of such an iconic show that had such a profound impact on — first and foremost, Black culture — but also American culture,’ Warner explained, nodding to the rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment claims against his former onscreen dad.
News of Warner’s sudden death has left fans and colleagues in shock.
‘That man gave us one of the greatest scenes in the history of television. I cannot even believe this. I am over here SOBBING! Rest in poetry, Malcolm Jamal Warner,’ one fan wrote on X.
Another tweeted: ‘Rest in power to Malcolm-Jamal Warner (1970–2025), who passed away on July 21, 2025, at age 54 from an accidental drowning. Forever our Theo Huxtable, a symbol of Black excellence, grace, and artistry. Your legacy shines on.’
Jamie Foxx was among the first Hollywood stars to pay tribute to Warner.
‘Speechless on this one rest in power, my brother,’ he wrote on Instagram, almost immediately after the news broke.
